CAPTURING OPPONENT‘S PIECES IS OBLIGATORY, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL BE PUNISHED AS FOLLOWS
If a player fails to capture their opponent, their piece must immediately be removed before the next player rolls the dice.
This marks the end of their turn, and they’ll have to roll a 1 or a 6 again to bring the prisoner back into the game.
NOTE: If the other players miss their chance and the next player has already rolled the dice, the culprit can stay where they are. It’s important to play this game with one dice only, so other players have time to punish any culprits!
If a player fails to capture a tower, the following rules apply:
Green rolls a 3 and should have used a piece from their 3-piece tower to capture the orange piece. One of their pieces is removed from the board.
Green rolls a 3 and should have captured the orange tower using 2 pieces from their 3-piece tower, so these 2 pieces are removed from the board.
Green rolls a 3 and has to use 3 pieces to capture the orange tower. If they don’t, these 3 pieces are now removed from the board.
